Music star Wizkid shunned going to university to pursue a successful music career, but now as destiny will have it, he has now been honored with a honorary degree!
Wizkid bagged a honorary degree from Cyprus University for his “selfless contribution to the Nigerian music industry as well as taking his music to the world,” and he was at the Nicosia Campus of the University to receive his degree yesterday, 4th of June.
On receiving the honorary degree, he wrote:
“Thank you Cyprus International University for the love. Thanks to the Staff of CIU and the entire students that waited at the airport to show me love! Tomorrow we go all the way up!! Blessings nd love!”
