Current world number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic has given the world a lesson in humility, egalitarianism and respect for his fellow human beings, even though the person concerned is under a payroll to serve him. The video, showing Djokovic’s humbling act was shared courtesy of PAZ and Facebook and has been viewed by almost 12 million viewers worldwide.
The video showed a temp boy who is paid to serve the professional player on the tennis court shielding him from rain. Djokovic invited him to sit on the bench with him and took the umbrella from him, shielding both of them while also offering the boy a drink. He then had a toast with the boy in anticipation for the success of his game. The 27-year-old Serbian player is currently ranked as the top player in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
