A very shocking scene caught on CCTV camera when a heavy manhole cover was blown-up probably by an underground gas explosion and blasted up just seconds after a toddler stepped away from it. This incident happened yesterday on the Warwick street of Birmingham city, United Kingdom.
It was just inches away from the toddler in a nick of time that the manhole cover blasted into the air by the explosion that according to witnesses was so powerful that it shook nearby buildings.
The toddler who was walking with her parents only narrowly missed being crushed as the the explosion left a meter wide crater on the ground. It was reported that the explosion was caused because of a build-up of gas under the road and Utilities companies have since cordoned off the site to investigate the incident.
So glad, this story ended well!
