After days of criticisms and accusations regarding the absence of any high-level US official at the Unity march in Paris on Sunday (click here if you missed it) to protest the deadly Paris terror attack, US Secretary of State, John Kerry earlier announced he would be coming to France to “share a big hug with Paris” and has make good that promise. Kerry was photographed embracing French President, Francois Hollande on Friday and had reportedly also visited the sites where the terror attacks occurred last week.
To further show the depth of the United States sympathy with Paris, Kerry brought along Singer James Taylor to sing this song “You’ve Got a Friend”, and this received a raving applause from the audience.
Also, on Friday Kerry and Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius laid a wreath at the Kosher Market where three victims and the jihadist, Amedy Coulibaly were killed.
