“Ahmed Merabet” was shot dead in cold blood, as he was the first police officer to respond to the scene of the Charlie Hebdo’s attack in which 12 people died, 10 of which were staffs of the satirical magazine, while the other two were police officers. Click HERE if you missed it.
The brother of the slain policeman ‘Malek Marabet’ speaks: “My brother was Muslim and he was killed by two terrorists, by two false Muslims,” he said. “Islam is a religion of peace and love. As far as my brother’s death is concerned it was a waste. He was very proud of the name Ahmed Merabet, proud to represent the police and of defending the values of the Republic – liberty, equality, fraternity.”
In a press conference recorded and reported by the ‘TheGuardianNews”, he said:
“[My Brother was] was French, Algerian and of the Muslim religion, he was proud of the name Ahmed Merabet. Proud to represent the police, and defend the values of the Republic such as liberty, equality, and Fraternity Through his determination, he had just got his judicial police diploma, and was shortly due to leave for work in the field. His colleagues describe him as a man of action who was passionate about his job.
Ahmed, a committed man, wanted to take care of his mother and his relative following the death of his father 20 years ago. A Pillar of the family, his responsibilities did not prevent him from being a caring son, teasing brother, generous uncle and loving companion.
Devastated by this barbaric act, we associate ourselves with the pain of the families of the victims.
I address myself now to all the Racists, Islamophobes, Anti-semites: One must not confuse extremist with Muslims. Mad people have neither color nor religion. I want to make another point: Don’t tar everybody with the same brush, don’t burn mosques, synagogues. You are attacking people. It won’t bring our dead back and it won’t appease the families. Thank you”
