R & B singer, Victoria Kimani recently shared photos of herself posing in front of a rock daubed with graffiti art whick looked much like ‘Cleopatra on her mantle’. The Los Angeles born singer whose roots are in Kenya had lived in Nigeria during her high school years. She moved back to Nairobi when she was 17 to complete her education.
She has worked in collaboration with many African singers and producers, including those from Nigeria and shuttles between the continent and America for her musical recording career.
In 2009 she joined a duo called Club Embassy and while signed to Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest, released a duet album called Diplomatic Immunity hosted by 50 cent’s DJ Whoo Kid. It got over 250,000 downloads and created a lot of industry buzz among music enthusiasts. In mid 2010 the duo split and began working on solo projects.
She has collaborated with Ron Browz, Maino, Jadakiss, Dj green Lantern, Busta Rhymes, Mario Winans, Cassie, Lloyd, A.I (Japanese superstar), Chris Brown, Diggy Simmons, Timati (Russian superstar) , Timbaland, White Nerd, Andy Chatterly, Pete “Boxta” Martin, Devyne Stevens,Konvict Music, Space Cowboy, Dawaun Parker, Diane Warren, Bamboo, Kimya, and countless other Producers and Artists worldwide.
