Grey Goose Entertainment is debuting a new season of “Rising Icons,” a television series that shines the spotlight on a unique group of eight influential recording artists who are making a major impact on the music scene. Premiering this August on BET and Centric networks, season two highlights some of today’s hottest up-and-coming performers of R&B, pop, and hip-hop. Each weekly episode will feature an intimate live performance by a different artist and will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the artist’s road to stardom. This season, viewers will enjoy episodes featuring Estelle, Laura Izibor, B.o.B, ELEW, J. Cole, Jay Sean, Jeremih, and Melanie Fiona, who was also featured in season one.
A VIP group of music stars and industry execs recently came out to celebrate the launch of the second season of “Rising Icons” at the NYC hotspot lounge, Avenue. Many of the Season 2 artists were on hand to celebrate, and also among the guests was Nigerian-American rapper Wale, who was one of the artists profiled in Season 1 of the show.
Tune in to BET or Centric this month to catch “Rising Icons.” Check out pictures from the launch party.
