The head of the Catholic Bishop Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), Archbishop Ignatius Kaigam today issue a communique that the remarks by Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka on President Jonathan do not represent an official statement of the church but a personal one from the controversial Catholic priest as Rev. Mbaka recently said that the President Goodluck Jonathan is plagued with bad luck and poor performance.
Prior to Kaigam’s statement, it was also reported that the renowned Catholic Priest had urged President Goodluck Jonathan to drop his re-election bid so that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Maj.Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) can win the presidential election in February.
