According to TMZ, Ray Rice is officially no longer a domestic violence offender as the charges from the elevator beating of his then-fiancee have now been dismissed and taken off his records!
After completing a pretrial intervention program, the former Baltimore Ravens star, the Atlantic County D.A. sent a dismissal order to the court and Judge Michael A. Donio signed the order early Thursday morning. The report also stated that Rice was in the supervised intervention program for 12 months and had to pay a $125 fine.
It was previously reported that Rice struck a deal with prosecutors as he was initially indicted on a felony aggravated assault charge, but the District Attorney reduced the charge to a misdemeanor, which is a simple assault.
So, Rice can now put the criminal case behind him, but he’s yet to be picked up by a team.
