At least, a total of 23 people have died in recent suicide bombing incidents at bus stations in two major cities in northern Nigeria, police and hospital sources say. A suicide bomber first struck in Potiskum, Yobe state, killing 13 people and shortly after, a second attack took place in the commercial city of Kano, which police said led to a total of 10 deaths.
In recent months, Boko Haram has stepped up suicide bombings attacks in northern Nigeria thereby raising more concerns on how the Nigerian Government led by President Goodluck Jonathan plans on clipping down their wings before the upcoming general elections.
