Much has been said and written since rapper Earl Hayes shot and killed his wife VH1 star Stephanie Moseley before committing suicide, on December 8th in their apartment in Los Angeles. This tragedy was the result of an argument regarding accusations of infidelity with Moseley, but it seems like the rapper was having thoughts of murder long before this.
It was only 4 years ago when Earl Hayes recorded a song with the title “Suicide”. The song was part of his released mix-tape “The First 48” and contains lyrics like “Shoot your girlfriend…” or “Take somebody with you…”, almost identical to his actual suicide and murder of his wife Stephanie Moseley. Moreover, Earl Hayes song “Introducing Hayes” also reveals some of his suicidal tendencies, as at some point in the song Hayes says “”I want respect even if I got to die for it…”.
Here’s an excerpt from Earl Hayes song “Suicide” :
Shoot your girlfriend or when you get surrounded by cops.
F__k the real life shoot it out and do your time on the spot.
Make a family crying with your girl and their hearstses.
Take somebody with you who really didn’t deserve it.
Show everybody that life just ain’t perfect.
And when you get mad, it’s time to close curtains,
Cuz this song is for you.
