60-year-old Media Mogul and Billionaire, Oprah Winfrey said in an interview with Barbara Walters that if she had been a mother and had children, her life and career would not have been possible. “I could not have had the life or the career in the way that I had it if I’d chosen to have children,” the media mogul told Walters in an interview for the upcoming ABC News special, “Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014.”
Also, on her famous talk show “Oprah Winfrey Show” which she ended in 2011, Winfrey said that she does not miss having to run a shown every day. Winfrey said “I don’t miss that because you know you’re only as good as the last show. You’re always chasing the numbers, and this is the thing: The 25 years are a blur to me because I just worked.”
Winfrey seems to be living life to the fullest since the show ended and to this she said: “For example, I’m going to do something I’ve always wanted to do. I wanted to do that truffle hunt, with the pigs and the dogs. So, I’m at least taking some time.” Also, she produced and acted in the movie “Selma,” which will begin showing in New York City and Los Angeles on December 25 and the rest of the country on January 9, 2015. Lastly, her partner, Stedman Graham is still very much in Winfrey’s life – more than ever before. “As we grow together, as we get older together, he becomes a more affiming and more loving part of my life than he’s ever been,” Winfrey said.
