Macklemore will need to forget about the “Thrift Shop” for a little while and start heading to baby-clothing stores.
Macklemore, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, wrote on Twitter : “We wanted to share the news with you ourselves…Love Ben & Tricia”, announcing her pregnancy with this adorable video titled “A Surprise from Ben and Tricia” and uploaded by his good friend and producer, Ryan Lewis.
The video which went viral in just a few hours showed the couple along with their loved ones as Davis receives an ultrasound.
Rumors began to spread when the duo were spotted in Vegas for New Year’s Eve, where Tricia Davis reportedly abstained from drinking alcohol and wore lose clothing. The 31-year-old singer proposed to Tricia back in January 2013 but they have been dating since the mid-2000s. Now, they are expecting their first child this May.
