Mohammod Youssof Abdulazeez has been identified by the FBI as the lone gunman who fatally shot four Marines and wounded a police officer on Thursday in shootings at two military recruiting and training centers in Chattanooga, Tennessee, according to MailOnline!
The 24 year old pictured with his family above reportedly opened fire on military recruitment offices and a U.S. Naval Reserve Center in Chattanooga. He also shot a cop named Dennis Pedigo (pictured, right above) hitting him in the ankle. He is however expected to ankle a full recovery.
Witnesses claim to have seen a single man fire a high-powered rifle at a military office in a strip mall from a convertible silver Mustang, before speeding away, around 10:50am. The shooter then drove about eight miles north to a U.S. Naval Reserve Center where all of the victims were shot dead.
Authorities later announced the shooting was over at 1:30pm, after the gunman was killed. However, they have not yet revealed whether he committed suicide or was shot dead by law enforcement.
