Just about a week ago, nude photo shoot pictures of Kim Kardashian taken for Paper Magazine rocked the internet and went viral in minutes. The pictures generated a lot of comments from celebrities, late night show hosts etc. and everyone has been waiting to hear Kim’s rationale for agreeing to do the shoot. Now, she’s finally spoken! In an interview with an Australian TV show, she admitted that the photo shoot with photographer Jean-Paul Goude was done for herself – more or less to show to the world that the sexy Kim’s body is back in shape after shedding all the baby fat resulting from the pregnancy.
As reported by Vanity Fair, she further said:
“I was so honored and excited to work with Goude because he is a legend, and for me that was something I wanted to do to make myself feel confident,” she explained. “As a role model, I’m not saying anyone else should do that, but for me it was an art project and it taught me to do what you want to do.” She went on, expressing the happiness she derived from the shoot, “I’m never one to preach, but I felt really positive and really good about myself. I love the photos, I did it for me, I hope other people like them.”
