Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s visited home country of Armenia a couple of days ago, (click here if you missed it), with the trip getting a little wild for West, who started an impromptu concert by jumping in a lake, and got everyone asking if he wanted to attempt to walk on water just as our Savior Jesus Christ did? However, the couple’s visit to Israel had more of a spiritual connotation and has been a more subdued one because both Kanye and Kim, who have self-identified themselves as Christians took advantage of their trip to get North West baptized in the Holy Land at Saint James Cathedral in Jerusalem’s Old City.
“Kim Kardashian’s daughter will be baptized and become a Christian officially and a member of the Armenian church,” Archbishop Aris Shirvanian, an Armenian church official, told the AP. “All I know is that she’s a famous personality. I don’t know her in person. In any case she is welcome with her family.”
In addition to getting North West baptized, the famous couple stopped by at a church in Jerusalem, which was said to have been erected on the site of Jesus’ crucifixion.
“We woke up really early to see the site where the crucifixion of Jesus Christ took place,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram.
