Kelly Osbourne, 30, who was a guest co-host on The View, was trying to make a point about presidential hopeful Donald Trump when she asked, “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?” Click here if you missed it!
Immediately after making the remark, the other co-hosts were taken aback and tried to stop Osbourne from speaking further, but she continued.
“In the sense that … you know what I mean? But I’m saying that in L.A., they always … ” said Osbourne, before being interrupted by co-host Rosie Perez.
“Latinos are not the only people doing that,” said Perez, who is of Puerto Rican descent.
“No, I didn’t mean it like that, come on,” said Osbourne. “I would never mean it like that! I’m not part of this argument.”
Perez later Tweeted in Osbourne’s defense, writing: “My apologies @Kelly Osbourne, I took your point wrong-#Trump #Latinos. My bad. You’re heart is so pure & righteous. I adore you.”
Osbourne also took to social media to make her own personal apology for the remarks.
