INEC has released the results of eight states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as they begin the final collation of results for other states prior to the announcement of the presidential election’s results later tonight. Based on the total votes as reported for now, PDP is leading with 2,332,734 votes while APC has 2,302,978 votes, although APC won five states while PDP won four.
Announcement for the other results have been slated for 8:00pm local Nigerian time.
