Ghanacelebrities.com recently reported that the Ghana Football Team Players referred to as the “Black Stars” will each be receiving a brand new Jeep Cherokee that costs $76,000 and an additional $25,000 for placing second at the recently concluded 2015 African Cup of Nations (AFCON). It was also reported that each of the 23 players had previously received $85,000 for their 3-week stay in Equatorial Guinea.
Seven of the vehicles have reportedly been delivered and the Sports Minister “Mahama Ayariga” has already received his Jeep Cherokee ride, according to the report. Also, players who are currently out of the country will have their assigned family members pick up their vehicles in their absence.
