The former major of New York, Rudy Giuliani is known for his brash and outspoken remarks who never shies away from pulling punches when it comes to throwing barbs at his political opponents. However, this time, the victim is a member of his own Democratic Party and the President of the United States, Barrack Obama.
Giuliani recently said in an interview with AM970 that President Obama should be more like the controversial comedian Bill Cosby, as reported by NY Daily News. The comedian who is currently embroiled in multiple sexual harassment allegations has a record of ranting at his fellow black men for their moral failures in every area of life. Mr. Giuliani also blamed the President for the recent shooting of 2 policemen at the Ferguson Police department.
“It starts at the top. It is the tone that is set by the President.”
The former mayor was well known as a tough crime fighter during his tenure. He even went to the length of commending the former police officer, Darren Wilson for shooting an unarmed teenager, Micheal Brown in August last year, setting a chain of violent events that later led to the recent shooting of 2 police officers at the Ferguson police station.
“What happened in Ferguson is that a man committed a robbery, attempted to assault a police officer, and the police officer — to save his life — shot him,” Giuliani told Fox News, as reported in Huffington Post. “The police officer did his duty. The officer should be commended for what he did.”
