The Denver Broncos may be one of the football clubs in the National Football League (NFL) having a number of former players dying before they reached the age of 25. In 2007, a young corner-back Darren Williams was murdered in a drive-by shooting and in 2010, McKinley took his own life by gunshot. Now, 9News reports that another former player, Adrian Robinson committed suicide on Saturday, 16th May by hanging himself. He was 25 years of age.
Adrian Robinson was with the Broncos for only 7 weeks as a linebacker, where he played 6 games in their Superbowl season of 2013. His professional football career prior to joining the Denver Broncos started with Pittsburg Steelers in 2012 and later Philadelphia Eagles. He was waived after Bronco’s 6th game to make room for receiver Tavarres King.
He left behind a daughter. Robinson’s last message on his Twitter account had a photo of him in his Broncos uniform No. 57, exchanging “fives” with defensive teammate Shaun Phillips, was posted on May 12 and it reads:
“Summer and the laugh of my daughter make me believe in God.”
