Last week, according to IB Times and several media outlets, we reported that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family members was planning to move her back to her townhouse so that she can die peacefully there. Her father, Bobby Brown has now spoken via his lawyer on Friday, June 19, to address ongoing speculations about his daughter Bobbi Kristina’s current condition, US Weekly reports.
“Due to the numerous false reports and sensationalism regarding Bobbi Kristina over the last two weeks, there is a need to comment,” Bobby’s legal counsel Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC told Us Weekly in a statement. “Bobbi Kristina is not going home to die as numerous news affiliates and websites have reported.”
The statement also included a message from Bobby himself, too, who was recently appointed Bobbi Kristina’s co-guardian with Pat Houston.
“Unless you hear it directly from me or through my attorney, do not believe any words attributed to me,” he said. “I am making decisions with Pat Houston and we are working together for the medical care of my daughter. I do not have time for the frequent side shows that others choose to engage in almost on a daily basis.” He added: “Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina’s medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter’s injuries needs to be brought to justice.”
Christopher also slammed a new report that Bobby, 46, is fighting with his sister Leolah Brown because of a Facebook post she wrote recently about Bobbi Kristina and Pat Houston.
“Furthermore, let me be clear, Bobby Brown has not made any comments to TMZ or any reporting agency, despite the TMZ article reporting that he is feuding/angry with his sister Leolah Brown,” the statement noted. “Bobby Brown never gave an interview to TMZ.”
22-year-old Bobbi Kristina has remained unresponsive since Jan. 31 when she was found face down in a bathtub of water in the townhouse that she had shared with her late mother.
