The Muppet show may sound distant to the millennial but for those in the baby boomers’ generation in the 70s, the mention of this Muppet show may bring back an air of nostalgia, according to Time. The Muppet Show was aired in the television circuit from 1976 – 1981 and was a constant companion for entertainment for the kids in that era.
Now, ABC is planning to bring back the nostalgia and may become a source of entertainment for the kids in this internet savvy age, while banking on the hope that it will revive back the interest as it did more than two decades ago.
Bill Prady, the co-creator of the ‘Big Bang Theory’ is charged by ABC to spearhead the revival of this purely children entertainment show. He will be responsible for co-wiring and publishing with Bob Kushell of ‘Anger Management’ who will serve as the show runner for this revival project.
