In commemoration of the anniversary of pop singer Micheal Jackson’s death last month, new evidence have surfaced revealing that the King of Pop at one time wanted to be an actor, in addition to being a famed musician.
In an article culled from huffingtonpost.com, some movie producers claim that Michael wanted to be an actor. Stan Lee who was a former Marvel comics front-man stated that Micheal Jackson wanted the role of Spider Man in the 2002 film. Unfortunately, he was denied.
Marc Schaffel also disclosed that Jackson also tried to get a role as Willy Wonka in the Chocolate factory movie. In his bid to get the role, he even went as far as recording a full soundtrack for the movie, however when he was not given the role, he decided not to release the soundtracks. He even approached J.K Rowlings to talk about a musical for Harry Potter where he could provide some creative directions.
In all, his achievement as a talented musician still makes him one of the legends of all time even if he never fulfilled his desire to be an actor!
