A woman trekking at the State Park of Arkansas called ‘Crater of Diamond State Park‘ in Murfreesboro found a 3.69 carat diamond the size of a pinto bean, according to Time. The park has diamond as part of its name apparently because there are diamond deposits at its location, and lucky trekkers may stumble upon one.
Susie Clark named the diamond ‘hallelujah‘ because according to her, she found it after saying a prayer. She intends to keep the diamond and has no intention to sell it. Conditions in the park are perfect for diamond hunting, said Park Interpreter Waymon Cox, as it recently rained heavily, washing away some of the soil.
