Awwrgh, due to a tooth removal Ariana Grande would not be performing at the Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star Game concert. Instead, she would be replaced by Demi Lovato, E! News reports.
The All-Star festivities which is scheduled to hold in Cincinnati was supposed to feature Ariana Grande as the headliner of this year’s concert.
“I’m so excited to be headlining the MLB All-Star Concert,” Lovato told E! News. “I hope my fans in Cincinnati are ready to get ‘Cool for the Summer!'” She referred to her recently released song, “Cool for the Summer,” which she performed for the first time in New York sometime last week.
Tony Petitti, COO, Major League Baseball in his statement said that Lovato is one of today’s best young artists and he expects that she would provide fans with an unforgettable experience. He also voiced regrets that Ariana Grande could not perform at the event and he wished her a speedy recovery.
The 86th annual All-Star Game will air July 14 on Fox according to E! News.
