The 16-year-old son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, who has created many eyebrow raising antics such a dressing as a girl, (click here if you missed it) and donning a white batman outfit for his School’s prom (Click here to read more), will soon be following in his dad’s footsteps as he steps into the role of a costumed crusader.
According to DailyMail,UK, actor Tyler James William recently confirmed that Jaden has been cast as the teen superhero “Static Shock,” for an upcoming Warner Bros. web series,
During an interview on Comic Con recently, Tyler confirmed Jaden’s new role:
‘There aren’t that many young black comic book super heroes. It’s great to see Static Shock is happening with Jaden.’
Static Shock aka Virgil Ovid Hawkins is an African American teen hero with the power to wield and manipulate electricity.
The character will appear in Warner Bros.’s digital live-action adaptation of the comic, Static, which debuted under the Milestone Comics imprint of DC Comics in 1993.
His father is currently playing another comic character ‘Deadshot’ in a superhero film ‘Suicide Squad,’ which is adapted from DC Comics.
