The much anticipated trailer of late Whitney Houston‘s Biopic for the Angela Bassett directed film ‘Whitney‘ has been officially released by Lifetime to give everyone a glimpse of the biographical movie of the iconic singer who died in 2012. Bassett worked with the iconic legend in the mid-1990s on the movie “Waiting to Exhale.
The movie, ‘Whitney’ revolves around the ups and downs, drug use challenges and marriage of the late multiple award winning singer to Bobby Brown. The biopic stars Harlem native Yaya DaCosta, an American actress and fashion model. According to ABC News “In the trailer, we hear “You are the greatest voice of your generation” and lyrics from hit songs like “I’m Every Woman.”
