Dancehall artiste, Timaya arrived in Australia on Tuesday for a month long tour beginning in Perth and then moving to Melbourne, Sydney and other cities, before returning back to Nigeria middle of next month .
His Australian tour will give him an opportunity to promote his 6th studio album ‘Epiphany‘ which debuted in September last year and further showcase his talents to Nigerians and fans from other African continents living in Australia.
There has not been many African-based presence in Australia and this tour is an opportunity to create a profile on behalf of Africa while also serving as an auspicious occasion too, because Australia is currently hosting the Asian Cup 2015, hence banking on the publicity generated for double effects. Hence, many soccer enthusiast following the Asian Cup would also be able to attend his concert as a form of double celebration.
