The terrorist attack on the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York city on September 11th, 2001 has not dampened the spirits of the United States to build an even higher tower on the site of the twin towers. One World Trade Center now stand in defiance to the terrorist at a higher height than the twin towers and is reportedly 1,776 feet above sea level. 1,776 is to commemorate the year of the signing of the declaration of Independence and the observatory deck is now open to the public for viewing, according to Times.

One World Trade Center is currently the highest building in the Unites States now. The admission fee is $32 for adults but free to all the families of the 9/11 victims and the search and rescue members of ground zero.
