Screen Icon Search (SIS) Winner lands big movie deals in Ghana and Nigeria.
It was just a few weeks ago, on the eve of the GIAMA Awards, the Screen Icon Search (SIS) competition was held with a sole purpose of identifying and recognizing young and future talents with the right qualities to get into the Nollywood industry. The SIS was moderated by three top Directors/Producers in the African Movie industry – Emem Isong (Nigeria), Frank Rajah (Ghana) and Pascal Atuma (USA).
As one of the perks of winning the SIS competition, “Diana Yekinni who emerged as the winner of this inaugural SIS earned an airline ticket to Africa to accomplish the ultimate price of featuring in a movie deal with the aforementioned top African producers. She just completed the initial stages of her first lead role script “The Refugee” with super-director/producer Frank Rajah. She is currently in Nigeria, and scheduled to continue another production shoot with one of Nigeria’s best “Emem Isong“. Thereafter, she will be travelling to the United States to complete her role in a Pascal Atuma production, so stay tuned.
