The February/March 2015 Mania magazine’s cover features several Nollywood star actors including Richard Mofe Damijo, AY Makun, OC Ukeje, Ireti Doyle, Gideon Okeke and a host of other celebrities. This issues is a special one and the first of its kind that has been dedicated to the upcoming Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The magazine’s editorial stated their goal for this special edition: “We have packaged this issue as a collector’s item with a celebratory bent as we highlight in exclusive interviews, the many practitioners in the industry. Our editorials are inspired by the movies in the Best Movie category and personalities featured are nominees in various categories as well.”
However, it looks like Mania Magazine took a cue from Vanity Fair’s special Hollywood edition in putting together this design, which also featured several celebrities on the cover including David Oyelowo, Reese Witherspoon, Amy Adams, Channing Tatum, Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Sienna Miller, Oscar Isaac and Miles Teller.
