We recently reported that the former Executive Director of the American evangelical ‘Family Research Council,’ Josh Duggar was accused of molesting underaged girls, including some of his own sisters when he was a teenager, which led to TLC cancelling all episodes of the reality TV show ’19 Kids and Counting.’ Click here if you missed it!
Dr Ronnie Floyd of the Pinnacle Cross Church in Rogers and family pastor of the Duggar’s, Arkansas told People Magazine and reported by Huffington Post recently, that what the eldest son of the Duggars’ clan in the former TLC reality show did is very wrong but he (the pastor) feels proud that he belongs to a God who can forgive everything.
“Everyone does wrong, and what was wrong was very wrong as to what was testified to and it’s completely unacceptable. But I’m thankful, whether it’s him or any other one, that I serve a God who can forgive everything.”
On Sunday’s sermon, he shared his thoughts with his congregants saying what former Bruce Jenner now Caitlyn Jenner did is also a sin and implored them not to allow their sons to emulate him. He choose to use Caitlyn’s masculine pronoun in referring to her as Bruce.
“You dads, make sure you raise your sons around men who are manly,” Floyd said, according to People magazine. “What’s remarkable about this is the world is applauding. Gender is not fluid.” But added that the Bible says “all humans be treated with dignity and respect,” whatever their sins.
“Bruce Jenner is no different from all of us,” Floyd reportedly said in his sermons. “We are all sinners. The key is cleansing our sins through Christ’s grace.”
