The Lagos premiere of ‘Champagne‘, the highly-rated Emem Isong’s movie was held in the presence of several celebrities at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island over the weekend and had Nollywood producer Isong not only showcasing her directorial debut in the movie, but also stepping out in style with her new husband Misodi Akama. The newly-wed and multiple award-winning Producer, Emem Isong also used this opportunity to introduce her husband to the public and said the movie was dedicated to him.
Nollywood celebrities and guests that graced the occassion include Desmond Elliot, Majid Michel, Daniel Lloyd, Alex Ekubo, Queen Nwokoye, Belinda Effah, Tana Adelana, Mary Lazarus, Kenneth Okolie, Kenneth Rhemmy, Funky Malam, Bobby Michaels, Bolanle Ninolowo, Tamara Eteimo, Deyemi Okanlanwon, and Tewa Onasanya, CEO Exquizite Magazine.
Champagne was shot in both Johannesburg, South Africa and Houston Texas and stars Majid Michel, Alex Ekubo, Mbong Amata, Rosemary Zimu, Susan Peters, Ruth Kadiri, Tana Adelana, Padita Agu and Anita Chris. The movie is a thrilling romantic love story, full of suspense all the way which also leaves you spellbound at the dangerous turn dating habits in an open marriage can take.
