Nigerian Footballer Obinna Ajoku is barely one month in the Maltese club, Tarxien Rainbows FC and has shown his stripes by scoring one goal in last Saturday’s match against another Maltese club Florianna FC.
The 30-year-old striker has a long record of association with Asia, spending about 8 years with Vietnamese football clubs and 2 years in Thailand where he joined Pattaya United in 2013 and the Thai Air Force Club last year. His stint with Malta is a new one and last Saturday’s score is sure to help his career with the European club.
He has set a 10 goals target to cement his stint with the Maltese club. “I think 10 goals will be okay for a start in Malta,” Ajoku added.
His team managed to secure a 1 – 1 even with Florianna.
