Brown Ideye was reportedly offered up to six million pounds to join the English club in a surprising move when the striker has not lived up to his mark lately.
His exclusion from the Nigerian national squad to the world club last year was because of his poor performance, as he had a string of underrated performance last year. In a total of twelve appearances, he only managed to score two goals. The Star further said that the English club hope of a seven digit offer would help to revitalize the Nigerian striker and allow Albion manager ‘Tony Pulis’ to give him an early release.
