A new horrific video has emerged on the internet capturing the double helicopter mid-air collision in Argentina in which ten people lost their lives, including three French sport stars (Click here if you missed the story).
The footage that was captured on a mobile phone, shows the two helicopters flying next to each other as well as the exact moment of the impact and the immediate fall of both aircrafts to the ground. The video then shows the bystanders running towards the wreckage to help, but unfortunately the deadly crash left no survivors, as the two Argentinian pilots as well as the eight French passengers died.
The French athletes and crew were in Argentina filming a popular reality survival TV show called ‘Dropped‘, which leaves contestants in remote locations with the goal of making it to safety.
Investigations looking into the cause of the accident are currently ongoing in Argentina while France has been in a state of mourning since Monday, with President Francois Hollande saying that the loss of lives is a ‘cause of immense sadness’ for the nation.
