The National Security Adviser (NSA), Mr. Sambo Dasuki said on Sunday, 25th January, that the Nigerian Federal Government plans on banning all pornographic sites in the country. Dasuki’s statement was issued at the closing of the 3 days workshops of Muslim scholars comprising of Imans, preachers and youth in Kaduna. The NSA also cautioned Islamic preachers not to straddle into politics by making utterance against political leaders.
The NSA, represented by Minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Turaki said in the following statement: “Government is planning to ban and block websites that inculcate negative attitudes in our children but we need a law to support such move. Because without a law, people can go to court and claim infringement on their rights.”
