The sudden demise of Nigerian footballer ‘Romanus Orjinta’ on New Year’s Eve was a shock to many in the country, particularly his soccer fans and no additional information around his untimely death has surfaced. The seemingly fit and prolific sportsman who has been hogging the limelight for sometime and was widely followed by football fans nationwide is a big loss to the nation.
The 33 year old former central defender who was a coach before his death had also won the CAF Champions League for Nigerians’s Enyimba Football Club back in 2003.
