Sematecino aka Semat is one of the A list Nigerian Artists in dublin, he is an ex member of a 5 man disbanded crew way back from Nigeria. When the group completed their University education, Semat relocated to Europe in 2004 to pursue a solo career.
This fresh, new, suave and different breed is unique in his original sounds of what he calls “Afro Fuse”.. a fusion of Hip Hop ,R&B and Afro Vibez. His name definitely rings bells in the afro entertainment scene in dublin as he has graced several notable shows including MISS NIGERIA IRELAND 09, MISS CONGO IRELAND 09, MISS SOUTHERN AFRICA IRELAND 09, BOLD N BEAUTIFUL MAGAZINE AWARDS 09 as well as loads of club appearances just to mention a few.. Semat recently launched his debut single, the infamous GBASIBE, in dublin, with Rugged Man from Nigeria flying over to grace the event. The hit single features Kas, another big boy in his own right in the 9ja entertainment scene. These days artists promote their brand with different slogans and Semat also cupped in on this as he plans to break into the Nigerian scene with his very own slogan which is also the title of his forth coming debut album “NO B SAY WE DEY TRY“.. which simply means I’m not trying to be something ..I AM ALREADY IT!..
