Hamisu Abubakar vowed to walk from Lagos to Abuja if Gen. Muhammadu Buhari won the presidential elections. The 33-year-old reportedly made the promise prior to the commencement of the presidential elections.
After Gen. Buhari’s victory, Abubakar began the arduous trek to fulfill his promise! Media reports stated that after 13 days of being on the road with five pairs of shoes, he finally arrived at his destination in Maitama, Abuja yesterday.

The man’s victory in fulfilling his pledge was warmly celebrated by an awaiting crowd in Abuja. Abubakar also hopes to meet the president-elect, Gen. Buhari in person and congratulate him for his victory in the presidential elections.
