How Kanye West Helped Bruce Jenner’s Transition to a Woman by Encouraging Him to Stand Up to His True Identity!

During Bruce Jenner’s groundbreaking interview with Diane Sawyer of ABC last Saturday, the former Olympian star publicly declared himself as a transgender. Click here if you missed it! It has however been widely reported that Kanye West played a major role in helping Bruce Jenner recognize his true identity and transition into a woman by encouraging him to be his true self.

TMZ reported that Kanye’s great advise to Bruce Jenner which was credited by the latter, stemmed from the former’s own experience in recognizing his own identity as a rapper with keen interest in fashion despite the fact that the honchos in the music industry did not intend it in a way he wanted.

As reported by TMZ and related by Kim Kardashian, Kanye eventually had to stand up to the powers and shakers of the music industry because they wanted to mold him in a way so that he can be marketed in the way they wanted. Kanye explained to Kim that standing up to those executives was the only thing that eventually brought him true happiness.

Kanye recognized the same pains Bruce was experiencing in following his heart and advised him to follow his own identity and disregard people’s expectations or perceptions of who they expect him to be.

Really in life, just follow your heart as long as it does not hurt anybody and being yourself would eventually bring happiness to your own life.
