According to TMZ, the crew of 50 Cents pistol whipped and robbed a Las Vegas jeweler when the singer was in the city watching the ‘fight of the century’. The owner of LAX Jewelry Com. told TMZ that he went to see the singer at the Drai’s nightclub with the intention of selling him a watch and chain worth $250,000, but was invited to check out Mayweather’s gym, an offer that was so tempting he could not refuse.
The jeweler claimed that when he arrived, things turned ugly and two of 50 Cent crew pistol whipped him and robbed him of his precious possessions, and fled the scene. When asked about this incident by TMZ, 50 Cent through his attorney, Scott Leemon denied that his security had anything to do with this.
“On behalf of 50, I can adamantly deny that he or his security had anything to do with these baseless and false allegations.”
TMZ reported that the Las Vegas Police is investigating the case.
