Jay-Z “Shawn Carter”, according to Forbes, made it to the number 1 spot on “Hip-Hop’s Cash King” for 2009, as he made over an estimated $63 million last year through album sales, a concert tour and high-profile investments, placing him as the top Forbes’ list of the richest icons in hip-hop. Sean Combs “Diddy” came in second place, making less than half of Jay-Z’s total earnings.
