Taylor Swift Gives $50,000 with a Sweet Message to Leukemia Fan Who Could Not Attend Her Concert!

Usually artists and famous people engage in philanthropic activities regularly, but sometimes they don’t usually give their hearts as well.
Taylor Swift did this recently when she donated money and sent a loving message to a little girl who has cancer.
According to HuffPost Entertainment, an 11-year-old fan of Taylor Swift, Naomi Oakes, found out in June that she had Leukemia. Instead of letting it overwhelm her, she was determined to fight it, using Swift’s “Bad Blood” as her theme song.
Taylor Swift got to know about the young girl when her family posted a video on July 5 stating that Naomi would not attend Swift’s concert in Phoenix, Arizona on August 18 because of her intensive treatment which could last from six to nine months.
Nicely, viewers of the video and fans of Swift ensured that the touching story got to the stat using the #TeamNaomi.
Luckily, the singer responded to the video and donated $50,000 to a GoFundMe page set up to raise funds for the young girl’s cancer treatment. She also sent a loving message along with her generous donation:
“To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family.”
This wonderful action by the Grammy award winner touched Naomi that she gleefully announced,
“I can hardly breathe,” a smiling Naomi said. “I seriously think I’m going to pass out right now.”
This was contained in a YouTube video her family posted.
In April, Taylor Swift also revealed that he mom was battling the pangs of the deadly disease, Cancer. Click here if you missed it!
