Son of Former F1 Champion ‘Mick Schumacher’ Suffers Hand Fracture During Formula Four Race!
Fox Sports reports that Mick Schumacher, the 16-year-old son of seven-time Formula One World Champion ‘Michael Schumacher‘, broke his right hand during a Formula 4 race at the Red Bull Ring in Austria on Sunday.
Schumacher was reportedly able to walk away from his Saturday crash looking okay, but reports indicate that his right hand was broken after being turned into the inside wall by Thomas Preining.
Schumacher is currently in his first year of Formula 4 racing and already has a win to his name. A few months ago, Mick finished 9th position for his debut at the F4, and also won the Best Rookie Award.
Mick Schumacher qualified for the 19th position for the Van Amersfoort Racing in Oschersleben, Netherlands and is expected to take the path to F1 greatness just like his father, Micheal Schumacher who was a 7 times F1 Champion.
His father is still under medical supervision at home after suffering serious head injury following a skiing accident in 2013.
