According to a book yet to be published, which detailed the life of Apple’s founder, Steve Job, the present CEO of Apple Computer, Tim Cook once offered his liver to save the Apple’s founder life when he was dying of cancer in 2009.

The book titled ‘Becoming Steve Jobs‘ is expected to hit the stands on March 24, and was written by authors, Brent Schlender and Rick Tetzeli. This new biography revealed the period when Tim Cook’ had visited Apple’s founder when he was stricken with cancer and lying on his sick bed in 2009 and offered a part of his liver to save his life. This happened after Cook went for a compatible blood test and found that their blood type matched. The late Steve Job immediately shut down the suggestion, according to the book.
