The 15th THISDAY Awards ceremony took place at the THISDAY Dome in Abuja. Hosted by Darey Art Alade, the “Nigeria at 50” Awards show honored a number of prominent Nigerians, as well as companies and institutions, for their contributions and achievements in polity
During the event, Golden ICONS Managing Editor (Temi Kolawole), was introduced to former US President George W. Bush and former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. When Darey asked President Bush if his “brother” Temi could take a picture with him, Bush jokingly replied “How come he got all the looks?”
