One of football’s great legend and former ace player for Real Madrid and Juventus, Fabio Cannavara, 41, was sentenced to 10 months in prison for breaking into the his own home seized by Italian authorities for unpaid taxes. The Italian’s villa in the city of Naples was earlier seized by the authorities for tax evasion and a bar entry order was issued. He and his brother Paolo, another footballer who played for Serie A side Sasuolo and wife ignored the order and broke into his former home. They were taken into custody and he was given a 10 months prison sentence. His brother and wife were also given an unspecified custodial sentence.
The 2006 ‘FIFA Player of The Year‘ is currently the chief coach for Chinese club Ghangzhou Evergrand. He is supposed to herald the Chinese team in the Asian Premier League currently ongoing.
