A federal judge in South Texas issued a preliminary injunction on Monday that temporarily prevents the Obama administration from proceeding forward with its executive actions on immigration while the lawsuit against US President Barrack Obama is resolved in court, according to an AP report.
The decision of the U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen’s now puts on hold Obama’s executive orders that could assist in preventing the deportation of as many as five million people who are currently living in the U.S. illegally.
